Hey hey! So last weekend Austin and I flew to North Carolina for a quick 2 night trip to visit some friends from college! Altogether, 8 of us were able to get away for the weekend and explore the city. We mainly went to different bars to grab drinks and catch up, but it was a blast and thought it would be fun to recap the experience on here!
Before I dive in - HERE'S THE VLOG!
It's nothing too fancy, just a bunch of fun iPhone clips I put together from the weekend to give you an inside look of what the weekend was like. Idk about you, but this video makes me laugh and I just really love it. I was obnoxiously trying to film the whole weekend (& annoying literally everyone HA), but I'm SO HAPPY I did because now I have this fun little video to look back on.
♡ ENJOY ♡
After a quick hour flight from Columbus to Charlotte, I met up with two of my closest friends, Emily & Shelby, at the airport then headed to Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream with our group. There's a Jeni's in Columbus, but I've never been so it was fun to finally try it!
Afterwards, 5 of us checked into our Airbnb to get ready for dinner and drinks.
DRINKS : First spot we went was a rooftop bar called Merchant & Trade. This place had high-end classy energy ( very into it ). I mean, almost every guy at the bar had a suit on and the rooftop views were stunning.
After being here for a little we wanted something more casual and went to Connolly's On Fifth, which is a totally awesome Irish Pub. I was LIVING for this place. If you've been in a pub, you know you that most people don't dance, but you better believe I was dancing, singing and just living my best life here honestly LOL

Shelby, Emily & I grabbed brunch at this really cute place called The Suffolk Punch. Afterwards, the two of them stayed out and went to a couple breweries, but ya girl needed a nap so that's what I did hahah
That evening we headed to Ink n Ivy for food and drinks. This place was really cool with an edgy feel. Later that night a group of us headed to the Epicentre ( which was so cute with lots of food / bars ) and went to Whiskey River.
Such a good night, with good music and my favorite thing... dancing : ) Oh, & me still obnoxiously filming.
Then Sunday, we grabbed food at The People's Market and watched the Panther's game before heading back to the airport.
The weekend was short and sweet but I loved it! Now if you visit Charlotte hopefully I gave you some fun ideas of places to eat & drink ( which is basically all we did HA ).
