Favorite Places to Eat in Naples / Marco Island Florida

March 25, 2018

After spending a good three months in the Naples / Marco Island area of Florida, I've definitely become quite the Florida foodie. I've found all my personal favs when it comes to tacos, clam chowder, drink spots, desserts, deals, etc. etc.

BUT before I dive into all that, can we talk about this little floral set?

I am so insanely happy to be collaborating with TOBI again to share this look with you. It is easily one of my favorite looks for spring. We've already talked about how they have the best formal dresses, but their latest spring arrivals are on a whole other level. Plus, TOBI is constantly having 50%-60% off sales, which makes their clothes insanely affordable. If you're in need of a few fun new looks for spring, they have the trendiest stuff to choose from.

ALSO, LET'S MATCH ( because my set is 60% off right now ) :

Now on to the most important part... FOOD. Here's my full fav food spot breakdown :

Stan's Idle Hour Resturant

This hidden gem is located in Goodland, Florida and has the best clam chowder I have ever had. Every time I go there I have to get it because it's just. that. good. Also, the restaurant is nearly completely outdoors ( don't worry, it's shaded ) and located right on the water. It's super colorful and full of character; plus, they frequently have bands come and play.

Jack's Lookout

There's not too much to offer when it comes to the food menu, but the location is amazing. They have a deck that over looks the water where you can see tons of pelicans and fish. Perfect place for a drink and some great views.

Dolphin Tiki

This is another spot on the water that has almost all outside seating. SO cute, but there's always a long wait to eat here. The wait is never too bad though because there's a full bar and great views to enjoy before your table is ready. Oh, and on Wednesday they have a special where you can get two lobster tails for $24.

Marco Island Brewery

This restaurant isn't on the water, but if you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere with good pizza and beer, this is where you want to go.

Island Gypsy

I am totally obsessed with this place, you have no idea. First off, this restaurant has shaded outdoor seating on the water ( yes, please ). Then, they have great drinks, the best seafood pasta I could ever ask for and CARROT CAKE. Let me just say that before going to Island Gypsy, I genuinely thought I didn't like carrot cake. But it was talked up so much that we got a piece to split for the entire table ( because this piece is HUGE ) and WOW. I mean, this is probably the best carrot cake you can get. Everything about Island Gypsy does not disappoint.

Sweet Annie’s Ice Cream

They have over 45 different flavors of ice cream. So you're definitely going to find a flavor you love. Plus, they have milkshakes, ice cream pies and pre-packaged pints!

Mango's Dockside Bistro

Another cute little spot on the water that has indoor or outdoor seating. I highly recommend "Captain Joey's Fish Tacos".

Marco Island Farmer's Market & Third Street South Naples Farmer's Market

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I am totally obsessed with going to these markets. The Marco Island one is Wednesday morning and I make sure to visit Sweet Blendz ( I need an açaí bowl, ya know? ) and JC's Daily Bread for the best chocolate croissants. Also, if you want to get some crab cakes to-go, Mister Crab Cakes is the way to go. Oh, & if you're into bagels and breakfast sandwiches, you have to check out the Empire Bagel Factory stand which is actually at both farmer's markets!

The Naples market is Saturday morning and I love visiting The Bowl ( naturally for more açaí ), Kronutz ( a croissant donut combination ) and I also love the Savory Spoon, which has sweet and savory waffles on a stick. If you're in the area on Wednesday or Saturday morning, you have to check out these markets!

Chain restaurants worth going to : Bonefish Grill and BurgerFi

I'd never been to either one of these restaurants before coming to this part of Florida, but as soon as I tried them, I knew they had to be on this list.

I know people that have tried other Bonefish Grill locations and told me the Naples location is by far the best! I can definitely see why, because the location in itself is absolutely stunning. It's one of my favorite views in the entire area. There are tons of colorful buildings right over the water with indoor and outdoor seating. Plus, the food is insane. I tend to get a calamari appetizer at almost every restaurant... so I've had a LOT of calamari ( like a lot ), but the Bonefish Grill calamari dish is my absolute FAV and I highly recommend the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos.

Then finally, BurgerFi is a perfect spot if you're craving a burger and fries ( which I always am ). My go-to order : single BurgerFi cheeseburger add pickle and make it "Green Style" ( no bun & they wrap your burger in lettuce ) with fries.

Happy eating!

That rounds up my fav food picks for Naples and Marco Island!

Have you ever been to the area? What are your favorite spots to eat? Let me know in the comments or on my latest Instagram so I'm not missing out!

Oh, & don't forget to do a little shopping at TOBI so you're ready for spring and accessorize with some dainty gold jewelry  : )
