Time for a second post on my fall favs series-- if you missed the first one you can check it out here.
This series is a round up of my favorite staples that I'm loving & wearing this fall. Think cozy, cute and probably neutral in color.
But before I dive into today's post let me just say, HI THERE. It's been a hot minute since I filled you in on life lately.
I recently went to Reading, Pennsylvania with my mom to visit my Grandma. It was a fun and food filled week that consisted mainly of relaxing and shopping.
If you were following along on my Instagram, you also know that we took a ride on the Reading Railroad-- cool right? Well it was... literally and figuratively. Other than the train being 45 degrees for the entire 3 hour ride there & not being able to feel my toes by the end HA, it was a neat experience! We ended up at the coolest little town called Jim Thorpe, where we spent the day walking around and exploring.
During the trip, my mom and I also checked out the Reading Pagoda, which so happens to be where we found an awesome textured wall to shoot this blog post's look.
Talk about comfy meets edgy.
I typically wear a small in everything from TOBI, but I made sure to size up to a Medium so I could wear this beauty as a dress.
The cream color is amazing for fall and is such a complementary color for my blondies ; )
I wore my hair down and straight and paired the sweatshirt with a vintage coach bag and the most amazing suede block sock booties.
Funny story about the bag actually... my grandma was using it as her tool bag. Yes, TOOL BAG. I can't make this up. I immediately went with her to Lowe's ( I think this was my first time ever in a Lowe's HA ) and bought her a real tool bag so she would let me put this baby to use.
The bag, the sweatshirt & the shoes all go together so well. I'm obsessed with how this final look turned out. High fashion and comfortable at the same time.
