NYFW SS'18 Runway Recap

Hey babes!

If you read my outfit recap, you know that I absolutely loved NYFW. It was such an incredible experience; a huge part due to the incredible shows I was able to attend and the fun Spring / Summer trends for 2018 that I was lucky enough to see.

Now it's my turn to share the shows I attended with YOU!

I thought I got some pretty awesome images from my seat, but after attending most shows, professional photos were emailed to me and they look SO much better than my iPhone images HA.

That's why I'll be the using professional images to discuss the runway shows rather than my own; so you can actually see the exact details I will be discussing.

For Gregorio's collection, he was feeling subtle pops of color through his beautiful circle pattern designs and loved a good structured outfit. My favorite look is the light pink romper with the blue studded belt.

It's just so playful and I could see wearing it right now; such a chic, girly and sophisticated look.

I would describe her looks as dressy, classy, and very feminine. I loved the embellishments, sparkle and pops of bright color.

I thought the dresses that were designed with a sheer bottom half, were absolutely stunning.

Overall, this collection had very creative and beautiful pieces.

This collection made me think of a modern day work woman. There were plenty of sweaters mixed in with trousers and structured skirts.

The sweaters would be a great statement piece for Spring 2018 after coming off of a cold winter.

This was my favorite collection, hands down.

To me, it seemed like Katie's collection was made for an edgy ballet barbie girl.

Sheer fabric, pearls and bralettes were a reoccurring theme, which made me feel the femininity. I also felt the strong confidence from the models, who were totally owning the minimalistic dainty pieces.

Maybe it's the dancer in me, but I thought that the leotard and tights designs were SO stunning. The colors she used were also perfect : bold black and the softest baby blue.

Yes please, I'll take one of everything.

This collection had lots of red, white and blue but with a modern twist.

I loved the two toned white and blue / white striped dress.

There was a major "sporty cool" vibe from the entire collection.

An America's Next Top Model judge, Kelly Cutrone, runs a PR firm in NYC called People's Revolution. The production for this particular runway show was by Kelly's PR firm and because of that, I actually saw her in real life! Being the huge ANTM fan that I am, this was SO fun and I even saw her hug another ANTM judge, J. Alexander aka Miss J, right before the show began.

Once the clothes started coming down the runway, I knew I was finishing NYFW with a bang because the clothes were stunning. They had an elegance with the muted colors and classic structure.

I think I fell in love with the white dress and plaid two piece set.
