Easter Romper

April 10, 2017

YAY it's almost Easter !!

Which means it's time to talk about what to wear to look your absolute BEST on Sunday.

This year I am loving the idea of a romper instead of a dress. So you still look cute and classy for church but are able to play with the family dog immediately after, ya know?

I'm all about cute AND functional. Why settle for one or the other?

As for the style of this romper, I love the high neckline and the lace overlay that gives extra length to the shorts. These aspects add extra coverage, which is super important on Easter. If you find a beautiful white lace romper without a high neck, remember you can always add a cardigan over top to be more conservative.

The dynamic of the elegant black and white along with the sweetness of the lace, creates an ideal sophisticated look.

To create cohesion, it's important to match the accessories to the details on the romper. I added black accessories to enhance the black lining on the dress and tie the look together.

Also, by adding simple gold jewelry, I was able to accent the gold details on the purse and shoes. I chose a very short glossy heel to continue the sophistication of the look. These subtle details make all the difference if you are going for a complete and polished look.
